DESCRIPTION:2024 Law Mini Camp\nJuly 26-28\, 2024\nLesley Grant-Law\nLeslie Law\n \nRegistration for 2024 is closed. \n  \nThis mini-camp will be limited to just the Laws as instructors and entries will be limited to 20 participants.   It will be on first come\, first serve basis and will close when full.  \n \nFees: \nEarly Bird Discounted Fee (deposit received by March 26\, 2024)     $ 800\nEntry Received on or  after March 27\, 2024                                           $1000 \nA minimum $250 non-refundable deposit is due with your entry.  No refunds after the closing date unless spot can be filled from a wait list.  Substitutions of horse or rider are allowed. Refunds less the $250 non-refundable deposit before the closing date.\n \nPayment Schedule:  \nNon-Refundable $250 due at time of registration\nSecond Payment $250 due May 16\, 2024\nBalance due July 2\, 2024 \nThe date your entry and deposit is received dictates the fee schedule.   This is first come\, first serve\, when camp is full any entries for that camp will be put on a waiting list. \nInformation:\nWe offer a friendly\, safe and fun environment to learn\, meet new friends\, and get exposure to the most excellent instruction you can find anywhere. \n\nOpen to starter (2’3”) and above and all ages of riders.\nThe format will be two lessons/day on the first two days\nLesson of your choice on the 3rd day.\nStabling is included in the cost of the camp\n\n \nCome Again Farm Facility: \n\nPermanent stabling on grounds\, limited turnout on a time share basis for guest horses\nVery limited hookups for campers—reservations required & first come first served\nShowers are available in the barn\nDorm-style room available—bring your own cot/bed\n70 + Cross country fences from Green as Grass through Prelim.  We have ditches\, 2 bank complexes\, water\, and a measured turf track where gallop pace can be practiced.\nWe add new jumps each year\, both cross country and show jumps\nA full complement of professional show jumps including gates\, panels\, Liverpool\, skinnies\nTwo indoor arenas\nOne 72 x 220 foot sand outdoor arena\nOne 120 x 200 foot all weather outdoor arena\nAir conditioned room to get out of heat\nFlush toilets in each barn complex\n\nEntries will close when the camp is full\, and will be accepted on a first come\, first serve basis. \nFee includes: \n\nStabling\n2 lessons Days 1 & 2\, 1 lesson of your choice on Day 3 \nPizza one night\nAll educational seminars/talks/clinics\nLunches can be included for an additional fee.\n\n \nAbout Our Instructors:\n \nLesley Grant-Law: Lesley completed both the 2002 and 2003 editions of the CCI*** Fox Hall Cup and also the 2003 CCI*** Fair Hill International before the mare was sold. With Timber Spirit\, Lesley completed the CCI*** Fox Hall Cup two years in a row\, the 2003 CIC*** World Cup Qualifier at Over the Walls Horse Trials and\, in 2004\, enjoyed top ten finishes at the CIC** Dreamcrest Horse Trials and the CIC** Red Hills Horse Trials. In 2005 and 2006\, they added a 20th finishes at the CCI**** Rolex Kentucky Three Day Event to their impressive list of accomplishments. Lesley holds an honors degree in International Relations and Philosophy and a Masters degree in Human Rights from York University. In her free time\, she enjoys reading\, writing and travel. Since relocating to the United States in 2006 Lesley has as well: competed successfully at the Red Hills CIC ***\, Jersey Fresh CCI ***\, produced three of the top young event horse finalists of the past few years and helped coach some of the fine young riders and adult amateurs involved in Law Eventing program. She also writes a column for the Chronicle of the Horse.\n \nLeslie Law is from the UK and brought home individual Gold and Team Silver for the British team at the Athens Olympics. Since arriving in the United States in 2006 Leslie has racked up a huge list of accomplishments including: three time American Advanced Champion\, Young Event Horse Champion and Reserve Champion\, multiple CCI *** and CIC *** wins and top placings\, and multiple CCI ** and CIC ** wins and top placings. He has found horses for and coached some of America’s top young riders and has had many adult amateurs in the top placings at the American Eventing Championships. Leslie was named as the Developing Rider Coach to the US Team as of 2015.
